Encon provides long-term careers for technicians that are skilled and customer service oriented. This is evident through our low employee turnover. Today’s service technicians have the challenge of having to keep up with all of the different types of heating and air conditioning systems along with the ever changing technologies. Our staff is perhaps the most highly trained group of technicians in our area. Senior technicians are graduates of state approved technical schools, licensed by the department of consumer protection and certified by department of environmental protection agency. In an effort to grow our staff, our apprentices are attending technical school(s) and are enrolled in a state of Connecticut apprenticeship program working towards licensing. In addition our technicians constantly upgrade their skills by attending seminars, schools, training classes and referring to manufacturer service manuals.
