Chris Douglas
Started with Encon in 1982 as a service technician. Known as one of the hardest working men in the industry, Chris quickly acquired the experience and education necessary to advance into sales and engineering in 1987. He has extensive industry knowledge of commercial HVAC design, installation, and in building controls. Chris holds professional licenses in heating, piping, cooling, electrical, and in solar. As a charismatic executive with a dedication for excellence, Chris leads by example and sets a high standard for the entire company.
Bill Valus
Began his career with Encon after graduating from Clarkson University in 1988 with a degree in mechanical engineering. His industry knowledge extends beyond conventional HVAC as he is widely considered an expert in geothermal, solar, and other energy-related technologies. Bill has been instrumental in keeping Encon at the forefront of technology specializing in providing design-build solutions for many of the most distinguished homes in Fairfield and Westchester Counties. Today, Bill provides the vision and leadership necessary to ensure that Encon delivers superior customer service and innovative designs for indoor comfort and energy conservation.
Jim Moriarty
Began his career in mechanical contracting in 1986 after graduating with a mechanical engineering degree from Clarkson University. He joined the leadership team at Encon in 2006. Today, Jim oversees Encon’s entire service operation consisting of over 70 employees and several regions throughout Connecticut and portions of New York. His entire division is committed to providing a high level of service for both residential and commercial customers. Jim’s integrity and his leadership at Encon reinforces the values that the company was founded on. His goal is to provide excellent service and deliver a positive customer experience every time.
